Balogun emphasized that LASHMA was established to ensure that workers as well as our members have easy access to affordable, quality care services to promote a physically, mentally and psychologically fit workforce to perform their jobs. its functions.

He implored his members and LASHMA to strive to educate members against insurance dogma and cynicism in Nigeria, if all public service workers are to enjoy the many benefits of health insurance. “Working together, both parties must always come up with better strategies to improve the operations of the scheme for the benefit of our members, if we are to achieve universal health coverage,” he said.

Speaking, the State Governor’s Special Adviser on Labor and Professional Relations, Babatunde Williams, reiterated the indispensability of health insurance for one and all saying that, getting good health insurance coverage for self and family provides the financial confidence to care for yourself and loved ones in times of need.
